Ambleside Days Festival

2nd to the 3rd September. There’s no denying the entertainment industry has taken a hit over the last 18 months, but thankfully the music scene is on the mend. As for September, Ambleside Days Festival brings together the best in contemporary music at Zeffirellis jazz cafe.

Eden Valley Artistic Network

Running from 4th to 19th September, fifty local artists welcome visitors into their studios along with a series of pop-up events. This is a great time to support the art community within the Lake District and potentially grab yourself a unique piece of craftsmanship.

Retro Rendezvous Festival

If you fancy a day out at nearby Ulverston, the retro festival combines live entertainment with a selection of vintage cars and motorbikes. The event is on for two days (4th and 5th). Meanwhile, you’re also nearby to the Laurel and Hardy Museum, Cumbria Crystal and the bespoke Shed 1 distillery.

Westmorland County Show

This fantastic mid-week event takes place Wednesday 8th September and Thursday 9th September 2021. With many agricultural and country shows having been cancelled due to Covid, we’re pleased to advise Westmorland is going ahead. What’s more, it’s just a 25-minute drive from our Aphrodites Spa Hotels.

Race for Life

Combine a passion for the outdoors and keeping fit with raising money for a worthwhile cause. This nationwide charity race is on the 5th of September in the Lake District includes several distances across the countryside. All of which with the aim to raise money and awareness for cancer research.

Mick Fleetwood and Friends

The legendary Mick Fleetwood appears at Fellinis in Ambleside on 7th September. The concert is set to celebrate the early days of the blues. Whereby the audience can expect a host of special guests to bring the show to life.

Kendal Mountain Tour

You could venture up the mountains of Kendal during your spa break in the Lake District. Alternatively, the Kendal Mountain Festival are holding an evening where you can experience all the stories without breaking into a sweat. Tickets cost £14.50 at Brewery Arts on 16th September.
