Winter Break in the Lake District
Holiday opportunities during the last few months for many of us, have started to become few and far between. Yet with the wonderful British countryside on our doorstep, a staycation in the Lake District remains somewhat magical.
Imagine being surrounded by snow-capped mountains, with picturesque views upon the hills that stretch for miles. Even the local attractions continue to welcome visitors during the winter months. Alternatively, there’s the museum at Windermere Jetty for a bit of local history or Zeffirellis Cinema to watch a film.
